The knee darts make such a difference in giving the leg that exaggerated shape without looking sloppy. I’m 5’5” and the extra length pools just right with platform sneakers. The rigid denim is surprisingly comfortable after a few wears.

The extra length pooling at the floor is exactly the look I wanted, and the rigid cotton holds the barrel shape instead of going floppy. Knee darts give it that nice built-out volume without feeling like I'm wearing clown pants.

I like the exaggerated barrel leg shape, but the rigid denim is so stiff it's hard to move around in at first. It takes a few wears to break in, though the pooling length at the floor is a nice touch.
